Still running XP?
Imagine trying to use a PC with Windows 95 or Windows 98 these days - assuming you could find components that would allow it to boot up, you wouldn't find many useful programs that you could run on it. Well, that's what will gradually happen now with XP.
Microsoft announced that from April 8th 2014 they will no longer be supporting the XP operating system. The biggest immediate impact will be that XP based systems will be more vunerable to security threats as Microsoft will no longer issue security updates for XP. It will also become harder for third party companies to continue to offer XP versions of their programs.
We build Desktop PCs to any specification.

Modern PC components are very reliable these days and the likelyhood of a hardware fault is very low. However if you do have a problem, being without your computer for a couple of weeks would be very frustrating, yet this would be the situation under most standard warranty coverage... and you could lose all your data too!
